Letters From The

This page contains letters from the families who have adopted a pet from us!

Hi, I am the man who adopted Pecos, the black chow (originally named Thunder). He is very happy here with me. I have a very big fenced in yard he loves to play in it. I wish I would have found a dog like him a lot sooner. He's helping me to keep in shape too! We go for walks every other morning. He sleeps inside at night, usually at the foot of my bed. My wife and son like him to, but he is really partial to me! Thank you so much for the wonderful dog. I'll be sure and tell all my friends about your web site. Good luck in your fight to save the pets.

The gentleman who wrote the letter above did not say whether we could or whether we couldn't put his name on our web page, so for safety purposes we did not. We received the mail, via snail mail. He lives in Texas.

Dear Angel Paws of Texas,
This is Wanda Wade. I recently adopted a female cat from you named Mama Kitty. I changed her name to Allena and wanted to let you guys know it took about three days for her to get used to the place, but she has really come around wonderfully! I really appreciate all the help you guys provided in helping me find a pet.

The lady who wrote the email above is the mother of one of our volunteer's who helps out from time to time with our organization. We received the letter, via email and did get permission to give out her email address. hunkercat@hotmail.com

Angel Paws, This is Jacqui, we are adopting Katie! Incidentally, we have thought of the cutest name for her. Our dog's name is Princess, so we are planning on calling the new precious one Ms. Pea - so we will have the Princess and the Pea. =0) We are so excited and can't wait to have her home!! Thanks for sending the pictures.

We received this letter a few days before Katie went home. The family who wrote this email have not given permission to add on their email, so for safety purposes, we will not. They live in Texas.

Dear Angel Paws,

Shandi--we renamed her Libby--is such a wonderful dog. She was a little nervous on the way home, but adjusted very quickly when we got here. She has truly become a part of our family in the short time we have had her. Our three kids adore her and want to be the one to sit by her on the couch. (Yes, she sits on the couch--she sleeps on our bed, too--or under it, whichever she prefers!) Her ability to play with the kids one minute and calm down enough to be asleep the next, makes us all laugh. She is a joy to have around. We feel truly blessed to have found her through you and Angel Paws of Texas. Thank you so much for all your kindness. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Nick and Mary -AND- Tyler, Jake, Gracie and "Libby" Holland

The family who wrote this letter were very nice and have helped Angel Paws in so many ways. Most importantly they gave Shandi a very loving home. That is exactly what she needed. Click here for a family photo!

Angel Paws of Texas, Small Dog & Cat Rescue, Zoey is doing great. Savannah really does seem to like her-- she laughs and coos everytime that Zoey is near her. I LOVE Zoey she is wonderful.

The family who adopted Zoey decided to keep her name as it was. They live in Texas and are very happy with the new addition to their family.
