OxfordThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Oxford, his brother & sister, & his mother have traveled a very long distance. They were at a kill shelter in Griffin, Ga and thanks to the help of many wonderful cat & dog lovers we were able to get them here to us. He is a very sweet hansome baby boy. We named them after cities they travelled through en route to us. Oxford is a classic tabby DSH. We think he may be a Bengal cross.

MeridianThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Meridian is actually not too friendly just yet. We are leaning more toward semi-feral on her case, but we know we can work her out of it. She doesn't bite or scratch, but she does hiss and doesn't like to be picked up, but will tolerate it. We are very hopeful given the right amount of time and attention she will break this cycle. Meridian is a beautiful DLH. We think she may be a Maine Coon cross. She was rescued from a kill shelter all the way over in Griffin, GA.

HumperdinkThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Humperdink is a Scottish Fold. He is very loving and so easy going. We rescued Humperdink as he was on his last few hours at a kill shelter in Arkansas. He'd do better in a home with no small children, but has gotten used to our 2 & 4 year olds. We actually haven't tested him with a dog and since we are not sure of how he would react we would prefer he go to a home with no dogs. However he seems to get along just fine with other cats. When we first brought him home there wasn't even a single hiss from him or our other guys! Humperdink is on medication for arthritis which he will need to continue with his new owner. As a characteristic of the breed he does need brushed as often as possible. In his case he will need dental work before he can leave the shelter. With adoption fee it should be around 185.

CloverThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Clover is very extraordinary. Her foster Mom (Diamond) was caught in a trap when the place where she was living decided they didn't want cats running around anymore. Clover will be ready for adoption in a few weeks. We are accepting applications for her adoption now so that she can go to her new home as soon as she is weaned. She is not spayed yet, but will be spayed before leaving the shelter.

SpadeThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Spade is a handsome little fellow. His Mom (Diamond) was caught in a trap when the place where she was living decided they didn't want cats running around anymore. We took her in and the very next day she had 3 baby kittens! Spade will be ready for adoption in about 6 weeks. We are accepting applications for his adoption now so that he can go home as soon as he's weaned. He is not neutered yet, but will be before leaving the shelter.

DiamondThumb.JPG (1294 bytes)Diamond is a beautiful kitty. She was caught in a trap when the place where she was living decided they didn't want cats running around anymore. We took her in and the very next day she had 3 baby kittens! Since then she has taken in an extra orphan bringing her up to 4 kittens. Diamond is a little shy, but we can tell that she is very happy to have a safe place to raise her babies. She has already been spayed and will be ready to go as soon as the kittens are weaned.
